Question. Why Doesn't God Heal Amputees?
by Bob Miller, author of bestseller, Kill Me If You Can, You SOB
Every time someone
brings God, Jesus or prayer up in my presence; I ask them, "Why does God not heal
amputees?"
I don't debate it; I just listen to
their explanation. Whatever answer they give, I just smile and say, "It's not
important. I was just wondering why God would answer the countless prayers of athletes,
celebrities, and cancer patients and not once, not even once, has he healed an amputee. I
guess he just figures the mechanical arms and legs are good enough."
Why is
it always the sheep who speak for the shepherd? Always the sheep who rush in to
defend the shepherd? This Christian God and his son have
never complained once in 70 years about me calling them phony, and crediting man with
their creation, and that just might explain why it's man who rushes in to defend these
two.
